I never thought that I'd show my drawings on the internet one day. I'm not very self-confident when it comes to things I've done on my own, whether they're pictures or melodies I composed or anything else. Mostly I don't like them at all.

A good friend recently suggested that I should give it a try and join a gallery. I considered this for a while. Finally I decided to create an account here on deviantART. However I did this basically to get some helpful suggestions on how I could improve my work.

I know that my figures are anatomically wrong and I'm trying to work on advanced perspectives, too. And the shading... well, I still do it the same way I did it when I was 16.

One reason why I didn't get much better since then is that I just didn't take the time to practise for the last few years. I almost completely stopped drawing when I started my apprenticeship four years ago. But even before that I never had the patience to work on one picture for a long time. Sometimes I even felt it was wrong to update an old drawing. I can't explain why...

Anyway, a few weeks ago I was asked to do some drawings for an online-rpg a friend is creating. He's doing that for school (as a final year project or whatever you call it in English) but I hope he'll keep on working on it after his exams.

I was hooked by the idea and I've drawn more since then than I did in the last four years together

What I posted so far are mostly old drawings that are not very good. But they're a start. And I'm happy about every comment from you guys!
